Orlando Bloom is engaged.

The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor is blissfully happy with Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr, and the pair are reportedly making plans to tie the knot.

A source told America's Star magazine: "They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year. They have had a bit of a crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife."

The couple were recently spotted enjoying a romantic meal at exclusive Californian restaurant Primitivo, where they held hands and canoodled throughout the evening.

Miranda, 25, was sporting a collection of expensive jewellery - including a stunning jewel-encrusted bracelet - most of which had been bought for her by Orlando, 31.

He reportedly spent $2,000 on Afghan jewellery for her at a recent charity auction, and has since demanded she throws out any baubles from her previous boyfriends.

A source said: "At Primitivo Miranda was saying she only wears stuff from Orlando now!"

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom engaged

MIRANDA Kerr will marry her British boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom, The Sunday Telegraph can exclusively reveal.

The wedding is planned for the middle of next year, when both have a break from work commitments.

Bloom and Kerr, who live together in New York, celebrated their engagement with a romantic getaway in Venice last week.

The revelation comes only weeks after the Brisbane-born beauty denied any wedding plans.

Kerr, 25, was also in the Italian city to shoot David Jones' autumn/winter campaign.

The couple share many interests including yoga and clean-living ways.

In the latest edition of the New York Post's Page Six magazine, the Victoria's Secret lingerie model talks about her plan to one day leave the fashion world and have babies.



"I've always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen,'' she said.

"My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch.

"When this is all over, that's where I'll be.''

Kerr and Bloom's relationship has been under scrutiny since they went public as a couple earlier this year, but the Gunnedah-born beauty has remained cool and calm.

"We know what we feel about each other,'' she has told The Sunday Telegraph, "so it doesn't matter what anyone else says.''

Kerr, known for her wholesome lifestyle, will next year bring out a self-help book, Treasure Yourself, aimed at young girls.

ORLANDO BLOOM and his girlfriend MIRANDA KERR have denied they are engaged following a flurry of rumours about an imminent wedding.

The British actor was reported to have proposed to the catwalk beauty before jetting off on a romantic break in Venice last week (ends28Nov08).

But a representative for Australian model Kerr has refuted the claims, insisting the couple aren’t planning on walking down the aisle any time soon.

The rep tells People.com, "These rumours are not true. The story is completely false and misleading. Miranda herself has clearly stated she is not engaged. There is nothing else to be said."

The pair went public with their romance earlier this year (08). Bloom has previously dated stars including Kate Bosworth and Kirsten Dunst.
