Actress Heather Locklear has confirmed she's dating former Melrose Place co-star Jack Wagner - and has even considered marrying the ageing hunk.

The couple has been linked romantically for the past few months, but both have been keen to deny reports they're dating.

Now, Locklear comes clean to America's People magazine, admitting her romance is "wonderful and exciting and blossoming," adding she feels deserving of something that "feels so right".

The actress, whose 11-year marriage to rocker Richie Sambora ended last year (06), admits she can see herself as the next Mrs. Wagner.

She reveals, "If Jack said, `Let's get married,' I'd go, `OK!' But I have a daughter to consider. I'm trying to be a thoughtful role mode, and not selfish.".
