Olivia Newton-John, a breast cancer survivor since the '90s, will head to Asia in April trek along Great Wall of China to raise money for a cancer charity.
The singer-actress, 59, has rallied celebrity pals – including Jane Seymour, Joan Rivers, Leeza Gibbons and British pop singer Sir Cliff Richard – to join the 141-mile walk, which will culminate in Beijing, Reuters reports. "I think it is going to be mind-blowingly exciting to see the place and to know that we are doing something that we will never do in a lifetime again," said Newton-John. "This is a lifetime experience." The goal is to raise funds for a cancer research and treatment center in Newton'-John's hometown of Melbourne, Australia. ![]() Source People |
