Amy Winehouse will have her day in Norwegian court – but the troubled singer has escaped legal action in Britain in connection with video footage that appeared to show her taking drugs.

"Police have confirmed that no action will be taken against Amy Winehouse in relation to an investigation into a video handed to them in January," her U.S. rep said in a statement Wednesday.

Earlier this month, Winehouse was arrested and questioned by police after a video surfaced of her allegedly taking narcotics.

"Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer," her rep said in the statement.

In another ongoing case, Winehouse will be summoned to appear in a Norway court on Jan. 12, 2009, to appeal a fine for marijuana possession, the singer's Norwegian lawyer tells PEOPLE.

"They need to get the formal subpoena in order," Ole Kvelstad says of the Norwegian court.

Her original Feb. 29 hearing to appeal the pot fine was postponed at her lawyer's request.

Winehouse, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, and Winehouse's hairdresser Alex Foden are appealing a fine for possession after they were arrested in Bergen on Oct. 18. They were released the next morning after paying fines of $715 each. In Norway, paying the fine is considered the equivalent of pleading guilty.

The British police didn't make arrangements for Fielder-Civil, in London on charges stemming from a pub brawl, to appear. Fielder-Civil's case goes to trial in England in June.
