![]() Jessica Simpson has claimed that some women are too preoccupied with trying to look perfect. The singer, currently appearing in TV series The Price of Beauty, admitted that she has previously felt pressure to look a certain way. "Beauty is a very easy thing to become obsessed with in our society," the New York Daily News quotes her as saying. "The pressures that are put on women today, shape, size... it has changed me completely because I haven't always had an inner confidence, and I haven't always looked at my reflection and loved it." She added: "There's always something that I've wanted to fix because there's always somebody that looks better." "This journey was about finding something that was beautiful inside of me and knowing that I own it. And it's unique and rare." The Price of Beauty airs on VH1 on March 15. Source digitalspy.co.uk |
