Pierce Brosnan has revealed that it is difficult to be an actor at the moment.

The Remember Me star explained that reality television and the current financial situation are making it hard for stars.

"It's just a pretty harsh time to be an actor," he told Parade. "Especially with all the reality shows that don't require much of a performance. It's really crazy.

"And the financing of movies, given the economy we're in, can be pretty brutal."

However, Brosnan added that he still enjoys his job, explaining: "It's always been fun for me to be an actor and I'm sure I'll keep on having fun."
