Cate Blanchett has revealed her husband hated having to kiss her when she was dressed up as Bob Dylan because she had stuble on her face.

The beautiful actress, who portrays the music legend in her new biopic 'I'm Not There', confessed her fake facial hair ruined her husband Andrew Upton's love life.

Cate told BANG Showbiz; "My husband thought it was hilarious seeing me dressed up as Dylan. He didn't particularly want to kiss me with stubble all over my face, that was a bit odd.

To be photographed kissing your husband while dressed as a man was definitely a bit odd."

Cate also revealed playing the role of an ageing Queen Elizabeth in her current film 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age' has brought on its own challenges.

Cate had joked claiming it was difficult looking older for her role because she looks fantastic for her age.

Shekhar Kapur, who is the director, said; I would say that when I watched Cate in front of the camera I would see an older woman. And as the scene would end I would immediately see a younger woman."

Cate quipped back: "It's hard to hide my fabulous self. It's difficult."

However, Cate has admitted she wished she looked uglier in the sequel saying; "I wanted to make a movie about a woman ageing. I personally wish the lighting had been even harsher.

This is a woman realising and having to accept she is getting older. It was a huge issue for Elizabeth, because her fecundity and her virginity were her political power.

And when that was beginning to wane, it was destabilising to her."

Meanwhile, Cate revealed she is "completely in love" with Harrison Ford.

The pair, who star alongside in their new movie 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, admits she has always admired Harrison's portrayal of the archaelogist, but has come to develop a major crush on him since the two started working together.

She told Empire magazine; I was such a fan of the 'Indiana Jones' movies, I grew up on them. I was completely in love with Harrison Ford, and I still am! He's a hottie, and has definitely stood the test of time.

It's so much fun doing this film, I've been having a ball. It's like a family, everyone is so welcoming. It is a really happy set to be on."
