Katie Holmes admits her husband, Tom Cruise, still makes her blush.

The former 'Dawson's Creek' star, who married the Hollywood heavy-weight back in 2006, confessed that her spouse's gushing compliments often make her feel embarrassed.

She said; "I love it when Tom tells me I look great. It gives me such confidence. Sometimes it makes me blush but it also gives me attitude. Every woman likes to be told she's beautiful."

Although Tom enjoys looking at Katie's beautiful figure, she admits she tends to have a few hang-up's with how she looks.

She said; "I try to embrace my imperfections. But I will forever wage the battle of the thighs! So I prefer not to show them off. I'm pretty tall. Usually most actresses are tiny and I'm not, I'm a big one."

Katie also revealed the couple's young daughter Suri is beginning to develop a huge flare for fashion.

She told Britain's Hello! magazine; "She loves it. She is always into the shoes. It's very sweet to watch. She is so smart and bright. She's not into pink, though, like some little girls."

Meanwhile, Katie recently admitted she's not worried about ageing because she learns new things about herself "everyday".

She said; "I find that as I get older I am excited to get older. There are more things for me to learn. I realise that I don't know as much as I thought I did.

I like looking back and seeing pictures of the past because that is 'who' I created for me. That is what I was doing.

I appreciate it more and more. Every day I try to find out more things about myself. I love changing."
